Overview
This guide explains how to configure a negotiated rate from a channel in YieldPlanet for the purpose of downloading reservations, ensuring that no rate information is sent back to the channel. This is useful when you need to integrate specific rates (e.g., corporate or FIT rates) for booking downloads without affecting the channel's rate management.
Instructions
- Add the Rate to the Partner’s Rate Plan:
Manually add the negotiated rate (e.g., with its ID and name) to the corresponding channel's price plan within YieldPlanet. - Access the Mapping Table:
Navigate to Setup > Mapping Table. - Enter Channel-Specific Mapping:
Select the specific partner where the negotiated rate needs to be configured. - Add a New Mapping:
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the option Add a new mapping. - Configure the New Rate Mapping:
In the Partner rate plan section, select the newly added negotiated rate. Crucially, ensure that all checkboxes related to sending information back to the channel are unchecked. This step prevents YieldPlanet from updating or sending rate details to the channel, allowing for download-only integration.
Troubleshooting
Rates being sent to the channel unexpectedly: If rate information is still being sent to the channel, double-check Step 5 to ensure all relevant checkboxes for sending information are deselected. The purpose of this configuration is strictly for reservation download.
