Overview
This article explains how to resolve issues where reservations confirmed by Yield Planet (YP) fail to appear in your Property Management System (PMS). This typically occurs when a specific Room ID in the reservation is not mapped within the Channel Manager.
Important Note
Mapping the room ID will ensure future reservations for that category flow correctly. However, reservations that failed before the mapping was fixed must be manually inserted into your PMS.
Instructions
1. Identify the Unmapped Room ID
If a reservation is missing from the PMS but exists in Yield Planet, check the affected reservation navigating to Tools > Partner reservations
2. Add the missing room ID
- Navigate to the Mapping table section and ‘add a new mapping’ with the missing room ID.
- Save the changes.
3. Manual PMS Entry (Required Step)
Because the initial delivery attempt failed due to the mapping error, the system cannot "re-push" the historical data automatically to most PMS providers.
- Locate the reservation details in Yield Planet.
Manually create the reservation in your PMS to ensure your availability is correctly updated.
