Module Availability and Access

The Revenue Rules plugin is a separate, specialized module for the Channel Manager. It is not included in standard product versions by default.

  • Requirement: If the "Revenue Rules" option is missing from the Setup section, contact support for activation.
  • Location: Access via Setup > Revenue Rules.

Purpose of Revenue Rule Firing Logs

The Revenue Rule Firing Logs panel serves as a centralized audit trail for automated pricing adjustments. It tracks the lifecycle of revenue rule executions to ensure transparency in rate management.

  • Historical Tracking: Displays a chronological history of every time a revenue rule is triggered.
  • Impact Analysis: Records the specific changes to rates or availability caused by these firing events.
  • System Transparency: Enables users to verify why a specific price change occurred at a specific time.

Reading and Filtering Logs

The log interface allows for granular analysis of automated actions.

Data Points Captured

Each log entry typically includes:

  • Timestamp: The exact date and time the rule fired.
  • Rule Name: The specific revenue rule identity.
  • Event Trigger: The condition that met the rule's criteria.
  • Action Taken: The resulting adjustment (e.g., price increase/decrease).
