Definition and Function

The Partner Update Errors section serves as a centralized log for monitoring the distribution of inventory data. It displays real-time errors, warnings, and notifications generated during the synchronization process between systems.

Monitored Data Categories

The system tracks updates and identifies discrepancies within the following data types:

  • Prices: Rate updates and currency configurations.
  • Allotment: Inventory availability and room count updates.
  • Restrictions: Minimum stay requirements, closed-to-arrival (CTA), and closed-to-departure (CTD) settings.

Notification Protocols

The system employs a dual-channel notification strategy for critical updates:

  1. Dashboard Display: All logs are visible within the Partner Update Errors section for manual review.
  2. Email Alerts: Any error or notification requiring immediate user intervention is automatically dispatched to the registered user's email address.

Key Terms

  • Distribution: The process of pushing price, allotment, and restriction data to partner channels.
  • Allotment: The specific number of units or rooms made available for sale.
  • Restrictions: Rules applied to inventory that dictate booking conditions.
